                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VINE STREET MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM 8:00 P.M. ON SATURDAY,
                   MARCH 23, 1991 TO 12:30 A.M. ON SUNDAY,
                   MARCH 24, 1991 FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE
                   "DEJA VU BAND PARTY" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP
                   OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE AT
                   CHATTANOOGA UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Vine Street between Douglas Street and
       Palmetto Street from 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 1991 to
       12:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, 1991, for the presentation of the 

       "Deja Vu Band Party" under the sponsorship of the University of
       Tennessee at Chattanooga provided that the sponsor shall set out
       and pick up all flasher barricades, and road closed and detour
       signs in accordance with the traffic control plan attached 
hereto,
       and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for fire and 
other
       emergency vehicles.
